Recently I am trying to use blogs to promote my business websites, I decided I should only work on wordpress based blogs, as far as we know that wordpress is perfect for casual as well as professional bloggers, with the fact that its licensed under GPL make the WordPress the most popular weblog platform on the Internet.
Lately I figured that I should build my own blogs and promote them, then I can use established and fully owned blogs to advertise other websites, and I think its not a patentable idea, the existence of blog networks already says it all, but those are not my own sites and I don’t have control, in addition there is no way I can post to them, obviously I will have to pay the owner to use their blogs, probably not cheap at all.
Its a tedious job to maintain more than a few blogs, if you want values for your blogs,to write interesting content is always time consuming, you have to put in time and money to build a successful blog. I’ve seen quite a few real world examples, look at this one, Jade Stone, it’s name is pretty cute, and it has a lot of interesting posts, since this is not a themed blog, you’ll find all kinds of different posts there. Check this one out, dealer tools, this is a themed blog, the content on the this site has a theme, quite a few keywords rank well for this site. there are more sites like these out there, but I think you understand the basics now. One more important point, you should build some casual blogs, let them get some content occasionally, take one blog as example, Pet Toys, your blogging network looks more natural with these casual blogs.
If you have a few established blogs already, probably you can add a few more blogs to your arsenal, use the old ones to promote the new ones, get your own little blog network going is not that too difficult. It sounds pretty simple, but to build a successful network will be much more complicated, follow the professional recommendations and ethic codes of online conduct you will be fine.
